The Foundation is now calling for grant applications from organisations delivering charitable projects in the UK covering the following areas of priority:
- Mental Health
- Migration (with a focus on child migration)
- Palliative Care
- Care for the Elderly
These applications are invited under the Aziz Foundation’s Beehive Programme, which recognises that significant knowledge and expertise for dealing with challenges and needs in disadvantaged communities lies in those communities. The Foundation is keen to support key national and local initiatives that provide strategic interventions, either directly through youth, community, and education work, or indirectly through arts, culture and sports.
Applications should be for grants between £500- £15,000 (restrictions apply) and should seek to address the disadvantage that individuals and communities face because of one or more of the areas listed above.
Who can Apply?
Applications are open to registered charities and not-for-profit organisations. However, in exceptional circumstances, bodies or individuals working outside of a registered organisation may be supported as and when authorised by the Board of Trustees.
Making an Application
If you are interested in applying for a grant, please visit the funding pages of the Aziz Foundation website and look through the Grant Making Policy and Application Guidance Notes before starting your application.
The deadline for applications is 11pm on 1 May 2017; completed applications submitted by this date will receive a decision in early August 2017. Please note that submitting applications ahead of the deadline will give the Foundation the opportunity to make requests for any additional information that may help speed things up.
The Aziz Foundation welcomes any enquiries about your applications. These should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All applications should be submitted through the Aziz Foundation website no later than 11pm on 1 May 2017.
