IOE places minoritised students at the forefront of change through the Student Curriculum Partners Scheme, where graduate and postgraduate BAME students review the content, resources, assessments and the delivery of specific modules to diversify the institution’s curriculum.
The Faculty is committed to tackling Islamophobia on campus through the UCL Islamic Public Value project, which aims to broaden the understanding of indigenous forms of governance in the Islamic world.
IOE is firmly determined to eliminate the degree awarding gap by 2024 – a goal incorporated within the UCL institutional Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Plan.
