Sarah Abbas is a recent graduate of the University of Cambridge and have been pursuing journalism through various work experience placements and internships in the past year.
Muslim communities are significantly underrepresented in the media industry, and Sarah is committed to contributing to more accurate and nuanced portrayals of the issues they face. She aims to bring fresh insight and drive positive change in how these stories are told.
While she has a broad range of interests within journalism, her passion lies in editing, though she also enjoys writing both news and feature pieces.
With the support of the Aziz Foundation, she will be joining the Telegraph as an editorial intern.
