Our ability to collect and process data has expanded rapidly, and its impact on our lives has been pervasive. As a result, the ways policies are designed, implemented, and evaluated in the public and third sectors have been transformed. I aspire to solve social problems by contributing directly to these evolving processes, taking a step towards this at UCL, where I will learn to utilise data in this area.
Committed to supporting marginalised young people, I am focused on education and youth policy. After graduating in economics from the University of Cambridge, I engaged in secondary education and charity work where I taught children adaptively, challenged discriminatory practices, and led initiatives to address them.
I have developed a nuanced understanding of the minority educational experience, which I hope to further enhance, and am committed to applying a critical approach to policy issues.
