NFTS Joins Preferred Partner scheme

The Aziz Foundation is thrilled to announce that it will now be offering scholarships at the National Film and Television School (NFTS) where talented British Muslims can receive a scholarship to undertake a range of Diploma and Masters courses degrees in creative fields including Games Design, VFX, Creative Business, Marketing, Directing and Producing TV Entertainment and Directing and Producing Science and Natural History.

The renowned institution is one of the world’s leading film schools and has demonstrated that it is committed to widening participation at to the post graduate level, and creating providing an inclusive learning environment for British Muslim students.

The School’s commitment to anti-racism initiatives and equality, diversity and inclusion addressing inequalities and disadvantages has been successful in rapidly increasing has resulted in an increase in attracting the number of domiciled postgraduate students from minoritised under-represented communities attending the NFTS, welcoming its most diverse cohort of students yet in recent years.

Furthermore, the School’s Student Support and Wellbeing team is staffed by advisors and professional counsellors from a variety of ethnic and religious backgrounds. They are, fully equipped to offer Muslim students culturally sensitive support.

The Foundation aims to work closely with the School, in offering to create opportunities to bridge the divide gap between funding, education and the film, and television and games industries.
