Sepideh Khosravani
MA SEXUAL AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, GOLDSMITHS UNIVERSITY OF LONDON
I am a fully qualified and accredited BACP member psychotherapist. I am passionate about tackling domestic abuse and improving mental health, having supported thousands of people in recent years. The majority of my clients face discrimination and barriers to accessing mental health services, the criminal justice system, and health and social care services. As a domestic abuse advocate, I go beyond and above in my role to support my clients overcome these barriers.
Currently I am studying a MA in sexual and domestic violence at Goldsmith University, and I am committed to addressing issues facing Muslim immigrant and global majority communities. I would like to continue helping these marginalised communities through giving them a voice and promoting equality.
I’m also hoping to work collaboratively with Islamic centres to strengthen the response to domestic abuse within the community, making a positive impact on the mental health of families as well as the wider community.
