Aisha Rimi
The Independent
Aisha Rimi is a BA French and German graduate from Queen Mary, University of London, and an Aziz scholar studying MA Magazine Journalism at City University of London.
Her interest in journalism stems from her passion for writing, and developed into a greater love of storytelling and communication. Through her pursuit of an MA in Magazine Journalism she hopes to use her voice to bring neglected stories to the forefront of the news agenda. She recognises the lack of diversity in the Journalism industry and wants to contribute to changing that by ensuring more stories are told about marginalised communities in the British media.
Aisha is joining the Independent newspaper as an editorial intern, where she will be writing across different desks.
