As a journalist and student of politics, I have always been deeply passionate about global affairs.  As the world becomes ever more polarised, reporting on a global context, has proved to be vital in keeping the masses informed as well as providing a platform for those in need.

Therefore, my desire to give a voice to the voiceless has pushed me to apply for further study in International Journalism. For many years, the Muslim community has been both misrepresented and under-represented in the media. This course will provide me with the tools to change this unjust imbalance in the industry
