Aniqa Lasker is a recent MA Magazine Journalism graduate from City University of London.
She hopes to draw attention to the prevalent issues faced by Muslim communities and the entrenched social mobility barriers that stem from them. She also intends to break stereotypes through tackling misinformation and misrepresentation in the media.
Given her background in science, Aniqa naturally has a passion for writing about health, climate change, humanitarian and environmental causes and scientific research. However, she also enjoys feature writing in the areas of culture, lifestyle and politics.
Aniqa is joining the Telegraph as an Editorial Intern where she will be working on the health desk.
