Aziz Foundation Announces Preferred Partnership with London South Bank University
07 June 2021
The Aziz Foundation is pleased to announce that it will be offering Master’s scholarships at London South Bank University (LSBU) for exceptional students, from a British Muslim background, looking to progress onto postgraduate study.
LSBU has become one of the Foundation’s Preferred Partners, having demonstrated their commitment in extending Widening Participation to the postgraduate level and closing the awarding gap for Black and Minority Ethnic students. The institution has been running its ‘No Barriers to Brilliance’ philanthropic campaign since 2019. It seeks to address the pressing need of students and communities on campus through its bursaries and targeted financial support. This is an important intervention, as 63% of its student population are from deprived neighbourhoods and 46% from BME backgrounds.
We are pleased to welcome LSBU as one of our Preferred Partners and look forward to working closely with the university to widen access and increase opportunities at the postgraduate taught level for British Muslim communities.
