The Aziz Foundation is launching its Universites Roadshow during Islamophobia Awareness Month.

Roadshow events, taking places at institutions across the country, will promote the the Foundation’s Scholarships programme, raise aspirations professionally and academically, and showcase success through alumni stories.

Iqbal Nasim – motivational speaker, former CEO of NZF, and informal advisor to the Foundation – will be joining the Foundation team, giving talks at university partner campuses.

Upcoming roadshows include:

  • 18th November: University of Sussex
  • 23rd November: University of Birmingham
  • 28th November: De Montfort University

The Foundation will be highlighting the positive stories of its alumni as part of Islamophobia Awareness Month. It will be joined by its partner universities in working with the  campaign organisation, IAM, on this year’s theme,  ‘Seeds of Change’.

IAM are calling on everyone to ‘take part in the conversation, be part of the solution.‘ Even the smallest conversations can result in long lasting impact, changing perceptions of British Muslim communities.

The Foundation looks forward to hearing of IAM activities taking place on university campuses during the course of the month.
