Aziz Foundation Scholar Anam Zafar chosen as Visible Communities Mentee by the National Centre for Writing

Earlier this year, Aziz Foundation scholar, Anam Zafar was selected as a mentee for the prestigious 2020 Emerging Translators Mentorship scheme by the National Centre of Writing. Currently studying for an MA in Applied Translation at the University of Leeds, Anam was chosen to be the Visible Communities Mentee. Her interested lies in translatin as activisim. By translating novels, she wants to give a platform to marginalised communities to have the agency to tell their own stories.
