Aziz inclusion award 2024 shortlist announced

The Aziz Foundation is thrilled to announce the shortlist for this year's Aziz Inclusion Award. The Award celebrates, on an annual basis, one of the Foundation’s University Partners that have demonstrated excellence in accommodating British Muslim students.  

The longlist of institutions were nominated by Aziz scholars and alumni in April. The shortlist has been decided by a panel of judges in June, with the final winner and runner up formally announced in September.

After carefully scrutinising the submissions supplied by nominated institutions, the judging panel decided to shortlist the following university partners for the Aziz Inclusion Award:

• University of Law
• Manchester Metropolitan University
• University of Essex
• Wolfson College, University of Cambridge

The Staff and Trustees of the Aziz Foundation would like to congratulate the institutions that have made it on to the shortlist.

The Chair of the Judging Panel, Dr Zain Sardar, commented:

The judges are very grateful indeed to shortlisted institutions for the concerted efforts they have put into their submissions. It is clear to us that there are many universities in the sector that are doing their utmost to develop innovative interventions and inclusive practices in striving to be Muslim Friendly Universities.
