With the help of the Aziz Foundation, I am able to study the bar course at the University of Law.

When I graduate I would like to train to become an international human rights barrister in order to protect vulnerable communities and advocate for their rights. Being Kurdish and Muslim has made me acutely aware of how easily minoritised groups can have their rights curtailed and their dignity violated. Often perpetrators of these injustices go unpunished.

I will dedicate myself to using the law as a tool to protect oppressed groups and advance their causes for liberation and justice.
