Bournemouth University joins Preferred Partner Scheme
06 February 2024
The Aziz Foundation is delighted to announce that it will offer Master’s scholarships at Bournemouth University, where talented British Muslims can receive a scholarship to undertake postgraduate study.
It is with great excitement that we unveil Bournemouth University as a new partner institution. This is as the University has made a concerted effort to expand access to postgraduate education and reduce educational disparities for underrepresented students.
Bournemouth University has been a member of Advance HE’s Race Equality Charter (REC) since 2016 and implements a wide range of important institutional policies, including on Equality, Diversity, Faith and Belief, and Hate crime.
Additionally, The Faith and Reflection team at Bournemouth University offer guidance and support to students of all faiths and has several provisions in place for Muslim students, including an Islamic prayer room, with a Wudu area, and a Muslim chaplain, who runs events for all communities on campus.
The Foundation aims to collaborate closely with the university in order to increase accessibility and enhance the prospects of British Muslim communities studying postgraduate taught degrees.
