Chair receives Honorary Fellowship from Goldsmiths University

Asif Aziz, the Chair of Trustees and Founder of the Aziz Foundation, has received an Honorary Fellowship from Goldsmiths, University of London. The award recognises his contribution to society, and in particular his philanthropic work.

The Chair accepted his award in a ceremony at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in Westminster. At the event, Professor Alan Downing, in concluding his oration speech, stated that,

‘It seems only right…that, as a committed and proactive supporter of the College, Asif’s connection with Goldsmiths should be acknowledged by being placed on a permanent footing.’

In his acceptance Speech, the Chair thanked Aziz Foundation staff, as well as the Warden and College Council at Goldsmiths.
