MASTERS IN EDUCATION, UNIVERSITY OF BIRMINGHAM

Starting in September, I will begin my Masters in Education at the University of Birmingham, with the goal of building on the knowledge and skills I have gained in my professional career over the past three years. Working for an education policy charity, I have had the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Department for Education, influencing policies and practices that directly affect schools across the country. My role has provided me with firsthand insight into how systemic disparities impact educational outcomes, particularly for students from marginalized communities.

Having grown up in Birmingham, I have been fortunate to witness the dedication of a committed Muslim community that has played a key role in developing initiatives to support and empower the most vulnerable in society. I aspire to embody the values of my local community by pursuing a career focused on social justice, inclusion, and equity.
