MSc INTERNATIONAL CITY PLANNING, UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LONDON

I am a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Geography, who has developed a strong interest in climate change and urban regeneration. My goal is to become a chartered planner and work within the international community to address challenges such as rising sea levels, urban sprawl, and inadequate infrastructure in rapidly growing cities. Through my work within the Muslim community, I have observed how inadequate housing, limited access to green spaces, and poor transport networks disproportionately affect marginalised groups.

The Aziz Foundation scholarship is particularly significant to me as it not only supports my educational aspirations but also empowers me to tackle these pressing issues. As a Muslim, I am dedicated to promoting inclusivity and ensuring that minority communities are represented in urban planning. This scholarship is a crucial step towards achieving my vision of creating resilient, equitable, and vibrant cities for all.
