Aziz Foundation Alumni Khadija Ahmed Publishes Her First Book – Soul Purpose
Aziz Foundation alumni Khadija Ahmed has published her first book, “Soul Purpose”. This book is a collection of short poems and prose, divided into three parts, ‘Darkness’, ‘Seeds of hope’ and ‘Overcome’. Soul Purpose takes readers on a journey from despair to strength, through thought- provoking snippets of feelings, fears, hope and faith.
Khadija Ahmed is an LSE Masters graduate in Media and Communications. Her thesis was on the sexualized representations of the hijab in western brands and how female Muslim students discuss the gap between representation and identity in light of this. Khadija is the Founder and Editor of online magazine AnotherLenz which focuses on under-reported stories in forms of articles, art and poetry. Khadija is currently working as an SEO Executive at Phd Media.
