Muhammad Ziyad Batha
MA MASTERS IN ISLAMIC EDUCATION, SOAS UNIVERSITY OF LONDON
I have graduated from a prestigious Islamic seminary, where I obtained an Islamic Scholarship degree (‘Ālimiyyah) alongside receiving various licenses in Hadīth, variant modes of Qur’ānic recitation (al-Qirā’ah al-Sab’), Islamic finance and other subjects.
My passion for education then led me to complete a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training and teach at Muslim faith schools. I am also a keen writer and speaker which has allowed me to contribute to various local and international organisations and projects.
I plan to undertake an MA in Islamic Studies in order to synergise my previous skills and knowledge with that which I will gain from higher academia. This will aid me to enhance the effectiveness of my endeavours and thus better serve the Muslim community in the current climate.
