I studied my undergraduate degree in International Relations at Queen Mary, University of London. My thesis examined the role that non-state actors play in cultivating cooperation and competition between states at a terrestrial and extra-terrestrial level.

I am now interested in highlighting how space-enabled technology is utilised to tackle key developmental challenges on Earth.

Through my Masters studies I would like to raise awareness about the benefits of space enabled technology to our everyday lives, and, further, I hope to encourage more women from the Muslim community to pursue a career in the space sector.
