As a biochemistry graduate, I was keen to continue exploring human physiology and medicine, but on a more practical level. Pursuing a career as a Physician Associate, I hope to develop my understanding of disease conditions, whilst positively contributing to the health management of patients to help them live healthier, fulfilled lives.

As a generalist medical professional, I am particularly enthusiastic about the overlap between physical and mental health, an area the Muslim community often misunderstand and overlook.

I truly believe facilitating open conversations within our communities about the impact of negative mental health, is the key to ensuring people feel empowered to seek out help and embark on the road to recovery.
