Roda HASSAN
MA IN HUMAN RIGHTS, UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF LONDON, FACULTY OF SOCIAL AND HISTORICAL SCIENCES
I am a dedicated human rights advocate who has leveraged my extensive experience in the field to establish a non-profit organisation focused on legal and policy reform, community impact, and the eradication of gender-based violence. My work is centered on amplifying the voices of survivors, leading human rights campaigns, and producing research reports that drive legislative change. I collaborate with prominent UK organisations, lawyers, and academics on critical campaigns to advance these causes.
I am currently pursuing an MA in Human Rights at UCL, where I am deepening my understanding of legal frameworks and case law analysis. This advanced study will enhance my ability to effectively use international law to pursue local justice. Additionally, it will equip me with advanced skills in political science and public policy, further empowering me to create meaningful change for vulnerable groups, particularly those affected by violence against women and girls.
