MA INTERNATIONAL STUDIES AND DIPLOMACY, SOAS UNIVERSITY OF LONDON
As a British Muslim woman, I have always been fascinated with the influence that religion, culture and societal values have on politics, which has subsequently led me to a Masters in International Relation and Diplomacy.
Having been fortunate enough to travel around Asia and the Middle East, I came to deeply appreciate different understandings of culture, society and conflict resolution and it is with that, my interests in my own political identity grew.
It is my belief that diversity is paramount in the field of both domestic and foreign relations to ensure that the policies created by the government are both inclusive and equal for underrepresented groups.
