The University of Winchester takes efforts to enhance access extremely seriously, for example through programmes such as the Postgraduate Access Scholarships Scheme, open to a range of underprivileged communities.
The institution has carried out highly impactful research and published guidance on how to foster inclusivity and enhance the Muslim student experience. The outputs of its research have not only benefited the University, but have been taken up more widely amongst other stakeholders in the higher education sector.
Furthermore, the University hosts a Muslim Chaplain and works in collaboration with Winchester Muslim Cultural Association to provide multi-cultural events and activities for staff, students and the local community.
