Yasmin Meddour

I am an aspiring journalist, published poet, musician, and arts reviewer embarking on a new chapter with a MA Broadcast Journalism at City, University of London.
To date, I have worked as a music writer while studying English Literature at Cambridge University and was recently interviewed at BBC Xtra Arabia, discussing the relationship between music and identity within the Arab and Amazigh diaspora in the West.
The Aziz Foundation scholarship will enable me to research and spotlight the art of Muslim and MENA creatives within British culture, a task I am hugely excited to undertake.
